Most consumers of HHC have described the effects of HHC to be quite similar to delta-9, which is the THC isomer commonly found in marijuana. As such, HHC is known to be psychoactive, and it can trigger a rush of euphoria to create a high.

Anecdotally, many users have reported that HHC helped them with easing into sleep, combatting stress, and soothing physical discomfort. Many have also said that, like delta-9, HHC helps stimulate appetite, which may be helpful to those who might have trouble eating throughout the day.

In other words, HHC may allow users to feel a very similar experience to that from delta-9, but they would need a higher dosage in order to achieve this effect, and at this point, the consensus is that HHC might be as much as 80% as potent as THC.

Is HHC Legal?

Laws regarding CBD and THC were nebulous to begin with, and HHC’s legal status only adds to the confusion.

We interpret HHC to be legal, based on the fact that HHC comes from hemp and not THC. As long as HHC is in compliance with the 2018Farm Bill, it should be fine, and HHC products of all kinds, including edibles, should be federally legal.
What’s more is that some might argue that HHC is not even synthetic, since it’s naturally found in the seeds and pollen of hemp.

Are HHC Gummies Safe?

As with any of the market’s latest cannabinoids, there is a lack of information detailing HHC’s long-term and short-term effects.
And just like with CBD and THC, there is no standard for determining one’s dosage.

But with the information we have so far, HHC appears to be a safe substance. The danger, however, comes from untrustworthy sellers.
Since hemp products are not regulated, retailers are not required to test their products, and take advantage of uninformed customers.
